About the National Loktantrik Party

The Voice of New India: Justice, Equality, and People-Powered Democracy

“Where the people are masters and leaders are servants”

Our Founding Vision: Born from the Soil of India

In the annals of Indian political history, December 15, 1995, marks a pivotal moment when a new voice emerged to champion the cause of the forgotten and the marginalized. The National Loktantrik Party (NLP) was founded not in the corridors of power, but in the hearts of those who believed that democracy could be more than just a word—it could be a lived reality for every Indian citizen.

Our founder, Dr. Masood Ahmad, a visionary leader with a Ph.D. in History from Aligarh Muslim University, envisioned a political platform that would rise above the petty divisions of caste, creed, and community. Having served as the Education Minister of Uttar Pradesh and witnessed the gaps between political rhetoric and ground reality, Dr. Ahmad founded the NLP as a beacon of hope for India’s Dalits, OBCs, minorities, farmers, and laborers.

“Politics should not be a ladder to power, but a bridge to justice. The National Loktantrik Party was conceived to be that bridge.” — Dr. Masood Ahmad, Founder

Our Parliamentary Legacy: Voices in the Nation’s Capital

The true measure of a political party lies not in its promises, but in its ability to translate the aspirations of the people into legislative action. Our proudest achievement remains the election of Baleshwar Yadav as Member of Parliament from Padrauna constituency, Uttar Pradesh, during the 14th Lok Sabha. This victory was more than an electoral success; it was a testament to our party’s deep roots in the soil of India and our unwavering commitment to representing the unrepresented.

Through our parliamentary representation, we have consistently raised voices for farmer welfare, minority rights, and social justice, proving that even a single voice, when backed by principle and conviction, can echo through the corridors of power and bring about meaningful change.

Our Guiding Principles: The Foundation of Our Politics

🏛️ Constitutional Democracy

We believe in the sanctity of the Indian Constitution and work tirelessly to ensure that its promises reach every citizen, regardless of their background.

⚖️ Social Justice

Our unwavering commitment to dismantling systemic inequalities and empowering marginalized communities forms the core of our political identity.

🤝 Secular Governance

We stand as guardians of India’s secular fabric, ensuring that religion and politics remain separate spheres in our democratic framework.

💼 Economic Equality

We advocate for pro-people economic policies that benefit farmers, laborers, and youth, rather than enriching a privileged few.

Visionary Leadership: Dr. Suhail Chaudhary

A New Era of Principled Politics

In 2022, the National Loktantrik Party entered a new chapter of its history with the leadership of Dr. Suhail Chaudhary, a leader whose very essence embodies the struggle of the common person. Known for his unwavering honesty, down-to-earth demeanor, and fearless commitment to truth, Dr. Chaudhary represents a new generation of political leadership—one that sees politics not as a means to power, but as a sacred duty to serve society.

His political journey began with the Samajwadi Party and later the Azad Samaj Party (Kanshiram), where he witnessed firsthand the painful disconnect between political promises and ground realities. This experience forged his resolve to build a different kind of politics—one that would be driven not by caste, religion, or money, but by the collective power of the people.

“If the price of speaking the truth is struggle, then I accept this deal.” — Dr. Suhail Chaudhary, National President

Under Dr. Chaudhary’s dynamic leadership, the NLP has transformed from a regional voice to a national movement. His hands-on approach to politics—taking to the streets for farmers’ rights, filing Public Interest Litigations against unjust policies, and personally leading grassroots campaigns—has revitalized the party and expanded its presence from North India to states across the nation, including Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and beyond.
